The transition to high-quality IMRT does not end with the acquisition of equipment. Just like a sword, IMRT takes training and practice to master. Thus, RCC embarked on an IMRT/VMAT training to ensure that participants' treatment delivery and planning is high-quality and as intended. Once mastered, IMRT has pronounced benefits for patients across nearly all disease sites, both short term and for the rest of their lives.

This 15-session training curriculum spanned 3-4 months. Each session was approximately 1-1.5 hours long, on Zoom, and was conducted in both English and Spanish. The course also included homework assignments to plan cases on ProKnow.
