Every day, cancer patients around the world receive care from clinicians working under immense pressure - often without access to the training, mentorship, or resources needed to deliver the highest-quality treatment. At Rayos Contra Cancer (RCC), we are working to change that. We partner with doctors, nurses, physicists, and radiation therapists across low-resource settings to provide practical, longitudinal training that strengthens clinical decision-making and improves patient care.

We empower radiotherapy clinicians so that their clinics can deliver better, safer, and more effective treatment every day. Through our programs, clinicians gain:

Immediately applicable clinical skills
Practical insights, documents, and tools for the workplace environment that support efficient, evidence-based care
Confidence and knowledge to provide better care locally

The impact multiplies. When one clinician improves, hundreds of patients benefit.

$40 supports the training of a radiotherapy clinician in an underserved region for a 4-month program with 12-18 hours of learning. This clinician can then impart better care for 200 - 1,000 patients per year (depending on their location), for the rest of their career.
$200 supports video editing so that more of our educational programs can be posted on YouTube.
$2,000 supports real-time interpretation for a 4-month training program in the native language of participants (up to 1,000 participants at a time). This promotes better knowledge sharing and the saved recordings serve as an ongoing resource.
And we are raising funds to support the development of new training program curricula, educational resources, and a tech platform.

Our team and our volunteers understand how challenging it is to provide high-quality care for every patient when there are limited clinician training opportunities and little subspecialty support. We bridge this gap - by delivering accessible, high-quality education designed for real-world clinical practice.
